Ok, so confirmed bad idea to quiet play aces

As below – again first hand in another tournament, 4 people in this time im ahead with a set going into river…..

2 folds, Hero calls, MP2 calls, 1 fold, CO calls, Button calls, 1 fold, BB checks.

Flop: 9d, Td, Ac (5 players)

BB checks, Hero checks, MP2 checks, CO bets, Button calls, BB folds, Hero calls, MP2 calls.

Turn: 4c (4 players)

Hero checks, MP2 checks, CO bets, Button calls, MPA raises, MP2 calls 1370 (All-In), CO calls 820 (All-In), Button calls 820 (All-In).

River: 8c (4 players, 3 all-in)

Final Pot:

Hero has 2h As 4d Ah (High: three of a kind, aces).

MP2 has 3c 2c 7d Kh (Low: 8, 4, 3, 2, A | High: flush, ace high).

CO has Ts Tc Jc Qs (High: flush, ace high).

Button has 8h Ad 8d 8s (High: three of a kind, eights).

Outcome: MP2 wins . CO wins .

Another $6+50 gone! Sigh.

But me think how many cards were ’safe’… not many – but more than 25%!
